Safeguard MCB's are tested for 1,00,000 mechanical operation & 25000 electrical operations.
Even if our fault occurs in any one phase the MCB will trip in less than 5milli-seconds, thereby preventing single phasing & damage to the equipment connected.
Contacts are made up of pure Silver Graphite which have low contact resistance, Low heat generation & almost no power loss.
MCB's are made in two types:
- B'series : They are used for resistive loads such as oven, geysers and general lighting system .
- C'series: They are used for inductive loads such as air-conditioners, motors, transformers & other electrical equipment .

Under short circuit conditions Safeguard MCBs operate within 2ms. The rising current reaches50% to 60% of the full current, due to current limiting design, thus let through energy is dramatically reduced. |
